On the other hand I was very much one of those people that was completely disappointed in Gears Judgment.
Personally, the original Gears and Gears 3, are two of my favorite games of all time. Hopefully Gears of War Judgment didn’t completely ruin the series for to many people, and there is enough of a fan base to bring the series back into the light. Gears of War 3 was the second game in history to ever reach the billion dollar mark in game sales. Many games later attempted to adopt and implement their own versions of the cover system and horde modes. It has major influences on the gaming industry, being labeled as the “cover shooter” and later in Gears of War 2, bringing along the revolution of horde mode. Gears of War has been a critical series not only to Microsoft, but a wide variety of gamers.
